How it works: the warm air outside the pool contains a significant amount of free energy. It is this thermal energy which is captured by the heat pump and transferred to the pool.

The heat pump only requires a small amount of energy in order to carry out this transfer and depending on the model, runs off a mono-phase or three-phase electrical power supply.
